Butters

1.Shea butter – is a skin superfood, that is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. Vitamins A and E maintain the skin and keep it clear and healthy. They are particularly helpful for sun damaged skin and to help prevent premature wrinkles and facial lines. Has a moisturizing and nourishing properties, reduces inflammation. 2.Cocoa butter – is a rich natural fat derived from the cacao beans. Cocoa itself has been given several nicknames, the most common one being Theobroma, meaning Food of the Gods. Its richness in acids (Omega 3,6 and 9), vitamins (E, F and K) and anti-oxidants makes it ideal for use as a moisturizer that promotes skin health and relieves the itching, chapping, peeling, or burning discomfort associated with conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. 3.Coconut butter – is a spread made from the meat of the coconut much in the same way peanuts are used to make peanut butter. Coconut Butter is great for moisturising and protecting the skin. 4.Mango butter – is extracted from the kernels of the Mango tree which typically grow in the tropics, where they grow into very large trees. Has skin softening, soothing & moisturizing properties, helps to combat dry skin, eczema and dermatitis. is helpful in protecting the skin from the weather and UV radiation, reported to benefit frost bite, sunburn, insect bites, rashes and stretch marks, contains anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties.

5.Avocado butter – a nourishing butter added to creams, sun creams, lotions & massage oils for its nutritive properties – excellent for dry skin patches. Great antioxidant.
